Studio Naenna

This boutique is a bit small, but sells beautifully- made clothing fashioned out of fabric hand woven by an eco- smart group known as "Weavers for the Environment." This group promotes environmentally friendly methods of dyeing and weaving and features an apprenticeship program for young village girls to help maintain traditional techniques and provide a viable way of life outside major cities.

Located in a charming and peaceful environment at the foot of Doi Suthep mountain in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Studio Naenna offers you a collection of exquisite clothing and eco textiles in ikats, silk, and cotton designed by their founder, many of which are colored in natural dyes.

Studio Naenna is a great learning experience. At their main studio, you can see their products being produced by hand, using natural dyeing, featuring 100% natural indigo vats and back strap loom weaving.

Studio Naenna uses only natural fibers because these fibers are the most comfortable to wear and use and they are energy efficient to produce, whereas synthetics are not.
