Night Bazaar

Night Bazaar is one of the most popular Bazaars in Chiang Mai, attracting thousands of visitors every day. As dusk descends this bazaar vibrates with life.

Though located in a rather drab three- storey building, this shopper' paradise sprawls along the entire Chang Klan Road. The street stalls sell a variety of items, including fine Thai silk, antiques, silver, clothing, handicrafts, CDs, videos, perfumes and watches.

Many imitation branded goods flood the market, and wandering vendors try to sell you an unusual range of products. This is an exciting area to shop for gifts, and there are plenty of places to eat and drink, too. Here you can pick up everything from antiques to fake Rolex watches.

The Chiang Mai Night Bazaar is considered legendary and certainly one the cheapest places for tourists to shop in Thailand, due to its close proximity to the source of products and the lower cost of living in Chiang Mai. Wandering along the crowded pavements, admiring the beautifully- made handicrafts and seeking out bargains on more contemporary consumer goods is the best way to enjoy the market.
