Located in the former Burmese Embassy, it is a beautiful and historic teak house in the heart of ChiangMai; The Smiling Monkey Pub and Restaurant offers tasty Thai food and a wide range of refreshing drinks in a charming atmosphere.

You can chill out inside at the bar or dine outside in their luscious garden complete with waterfalls and nightly live music. The Smiling Monkey promises you a time to remember.
The menu consists of a variety of appetizing Thai dishes, such as fried vegetables with sweet and sour sauce and shrimp (THB60), steamed fresh water fish with soy sauce (THB130) and roast duck red curry (THB70). A range of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages from the full bar is available.

They serve a unique blend of Thai and International food accompanied by a complete beverage list to compliment your meal. While Thai cooking is their specialty, their International menu includes fine steaks, delectable pork chops, savory spaghetti and the best cheeseburger in Chiangmai.
