La Luna Gallery presents cutting edge cotemporary art. It is renowned for displaying controversial pieces of art. The 220 m2 new facility presently carries art from Thailand, Myanmar (Burma), Vietnam, Malaysia and Philippines.
La Luna Gallery was established to promote art from Asia and the Pacific, and simultaneously to encourage and support local contemporary and abstract art scene.
Focus is on colorful paintings reflecting and commenting on aesthetic, spiritual, social and cultural issues in their rapidly changing society. Many are by young and up- coming artists, although well- established and internationally respected artists are also featured.
Adding another dimension, the gallery carries art photos from Thailand- based photographers as well as posters, cards, notebooks, lacquerware and pottery from famed artists and art houses in Chiang Rai, Bangkok and further.
La Luna Gallery also specializes in organizing art events in and around Chiang Mai.
La Luna Gallery has its own import of beautiful lacquer- ware from Myanmar/Burma in red, black, green, silver and gold, traditional tea- cups, coasters, trays, boxes and containers.
